FirstCash, Inc. in Metairie, LA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee with 6+ months of Store Management experience. You will assist the Store Manager to lead and develop staff, recruit top talent, maximize financial goals, and maintain a customer-centric environment.

This position offers an hourly wage from $13.00 to $22.40, plus commission based on productivity and a performance bonus. Benefits include health coverage, earned wage access, vacation time, employee discounts, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, ensure procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
