FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in Irving, TX to lead day-to-day store operations alongside the Store Manager.

This role targets external retail assistants aiming to move into Store Management, with a minimum of six months of management experience and a strong customer-service mindset. The position offers an hourly wage from $13.00 to $25.00 plus commission based on productivity, and a store-performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail management experience.
• Must be willing to work 45+ hours per week.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment with firearms in some stores.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of all loans issued.
