Summary
Store Managers play a vital role by developing, supporting, and holding their store teams accountable to deliver the Lidl shopping experience across 30 countries. Successful Store Managers take ownership of their store’s performance, demonstrating proactive leadership, adaptability, and a passion for high-quality, low-price shopping. They evaluate training needs and prioritize employee development, ensuring excellent customer service and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the performance and well-being of the store and all its team members, totaling between 15 and 60 employees based on store volume
• Ensure and provide excellent customer service throughout the store, serving as the main contact for customer needs
• Monitor and improve store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Recruit, train, and develop your team
• Support operational tasks such as cash management, stock handling, cleaning, and other essential functions
• Maintain a safe, positive, and productive work environment in compliance with policies and legal requirements

What You’ll Need

• Determination to complete tasks on time, meet store targets, and maximize productivity
• Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and de-escalation abilities
• Willingness to participate in daily store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and ringing
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific store alcohol licensing as required
