Job summary

National Pawn - TX is seeking a Store Management Trainee to develop leadership skills while assisting the Store Manager with daily operations in our Texas stores. This role offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity and a performance bonus; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, Earned Wage Access, and generous vacation.

Must have at least 1 year retail management experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year retail management experience.
Willing to work 45+ hours per week and flexible schedule.
Ability to supervise others and manage cash.
Able to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures protect assets.
Ensure asset protection through inventory control and store safety procedures.
Administer processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
Evaluate store financials and drive profitability through goal setting.
Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
Communicate clearly with employees to align with mission and profit objectives.
Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
