FirstCash is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role is designed for external retail assistants and managers looking to fast-track into a Store Management position.

The role offers hourly pay of $15.00 to $17.00 per hour plus potential commission and bonuses based on store performance; comprehensive benefits and Earned Wage Access are available. Candidates should have at least 6 months of store management experience and be willing to work 45+ hours per week;

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months store management experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours a week.
• Ability to operate POS systems and related office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment and address customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in training of pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open/close store, count cash drawers and merchandise, protect assets.
• Manage asset protection, inventory, and loan management processes.
• Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and goals.
