Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager Trainee with start‑to‑finish leadership responsibility in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will support day‑to‑day operations and partner with the Store Manager to develop staff, recruit talent, and drive customer satisfaction.

The role offers an hourly wage with commissions based on productivity and performance bonuses. Applicants should be willing to work 45+ hours weekly and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, counts cash drawers and merchandise, and ensures procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safe procedures.
• Manage store operations, including inventory, loans, merchandising, systems, and reporting.
• Drive profitability through analysis of financial statements and goal-setting.
• Maintain operating standards to meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
