In 2024, stylist Dani Michelle joined as creative director and contributes a feminine yet edgy perspective. Joe’s Jeans seeks to hire a Store Manager to drive business, train the store team, and maintain operational excellence while delivering a memorable in-store experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Educate the sales team on the store sales plan, personal sales goals, store statistics, and motivate the team to achieve goals
- Consistently achieve and exceed total store goals and KPIs as determined by the Company
- Partner with corporate to build relationships and events that drive traffic and sales
- Identify business trends and respond quickly to business needs
- Foster a customer service–focused environment through best practices in service, sales generation, and outreach
- Demonstrate sales leadership by actively engaging on the sales floor
- Develop and maintain store clienteling processes and ensure associate participation and compliance
- Maintain knowledge of Company history, brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to assist with sales generation
- Maintain knowledge of products, including sizing, materials, construction, inventory levels, and sales trends, to assist customers
- Ensure the sales floor meets Company standards for merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping
- Direct and supervise daily activities of management, sales, and stock teams
- Provide recognition and ongoing constructive feedback and coaching to team members
- Develop internal talent and build a bench for future leadership roles
- Recruit and interview external talent on an ongoing basis
- Manage operational processes related to merchandise management, security, loss prevention, and facility maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Company standards for merchandising, safety, functionality, security, and relevant regulations
- Maintain neat and organized stockroom, storage, and receiving areas for safe product access
- Communicate with corporate partners on product flow into and out of the store
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the corporate team to maximize sales through replenishment
- Manage inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Facilitate communication of Company information to associates
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a customer-service oriented retail environment
- Proven ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to drive sales
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues
- Experience with POS systems, including inventory management
- Strong management, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
Compensation and Equal Opportunity
Salary Range: $26.00-$39.00 per hour
