Store Manager - Pittsburgh Paints Company

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering excellent customer service. Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a motivated Store Manager who will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site 100% of the time in Erie, PA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve sales and profit targets by managing expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and increasing net contribution.
2. Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer issues efficiently.
3. Engage and motivate staff through training, mentoring, and leadership.
4. Understand local market dynamics, operational selling, and the customer base.
5. Ensure the store's exterior and interior appearance, including merchandising displays, meet standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of retail experience.
• Knowledge of paint and sundries is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
• Flexible working hours, minimum 45 hours/week; valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds daily.
• Consent to background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks.
