Job description

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering excellent customer service. Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a motivated Store Manager. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site 100% of the time in Erie, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve sales and profit targets by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and increasing net contribution.
2. Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer issues promptly.
3. Foster high associate engagement through effective leadership, training, mentoring, and motivation.
4. Understand local market dynamics, operations-based selling, and the customer base.
5. Ensure the store's exterior and interior appearance, including merchandising displays, meet standards.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of retail store experience.
2. Knowledge of paint and sundries is a plus.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
4. Flexible availability, minimum 45 hours per week, and a valid driver's license.
5. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds regularly.
6. Consent to background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks.
