Job summary

gorjana is looking for a Store Manager for their new location in Palmer Square, Princeton, opening Summer 2026. The Store Manager will oversee store performance, lead training initiatives, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of retail leadership experience, be adaptable, and possess a strong passion for the gorjana brand. The role includes a salary range of $75,000 – $85,000, commission, and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a retail leadership position.
• Must be over the age of 18.
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 6 hours per shift.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Availability for full-time hours.

Job description

As the Store Manager, you are responsible for the store’s overall performance, talent initiatives, operational execution, visual standards, and customer experience. Ideal candidates are individuals who are motivated, adaptable to change, coachable, values oriented, strong talent developers, and have a passion for our brand.

This position will be located in our brand new store in Palmer Square, opening Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

• Overall store performance and KPI oversight
• Serve as brand ambassador by showing passion for the brand, educating customers on our history, and being knowledgeable about our products and the industry as a whole
• Create effective action plans to maintain or improve performance
• Build new and repeat business through customer clienteling
• Lead training and development initiatives
• Recruit, onboard, and develop both internal and external talent
• Communicate in a style that energizes and encourages teamwork
• Foster accountability and trust through collaboration and idea sharing
• Communicate new initiatives and goals clearly and timely
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience for all customers
• Set and model the tone for team presentation and personal presence each day
• Guide customers through return policies while prioritizing overall experience
• Respond quickly to customer complaints and concerns in a professional, resolution‑oriented manner
• Lead execution of brand visual standards and updates
• Execute daily store operations efficiently
• Schedu le team members to meet business and budget needs
• Manage store inventory with detail and organization per SOPs
• Lead opening and closing duties as required

• Salary range $75,000 – $85,000 (range may vary based on experience)
