Job summary

New Look is seeking an experienced optician with proven sales leadership to manage a store, coach a team, and uphold exceptional customer service. You will ensure product quality, perform lens/frame checks, and support professional development within a collaborative environment.

The role requires membership with the College of Dispensing Opticians and a track record of reducing costs while hitting sales targets, along with a passion for eco-responsibility and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a member of the College of Dispensing Opticians in your province.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing a sales team.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and control costs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Ability to manage pressure and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and oversee store operations.
• Apply company standards, procedures, and programs.
• Provide high-quality customer service according to company standards.
• Adjust contact lenses and advise clients on use.
• Inspect lenses, frames, and ophthalmic products for quality and conformity; perform repairs.
• Perform professional acts reserved for opticians.
• Train new employees and support their development.
• Act as an ambassador for an environmentally and community minded company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives and activities related to the operation of its store;

• Perform any other professional act reserved for an optician;

Requirements

• Be a member of the College of Dispensing Opticians in his/her province;
• Have a minimum of five years of experience managing a sales team;
• Have obtained significant results in achieving objectives and controlling operating costs;
• Leadership, ability to communicate, to motivate and mobilize a sales team;
• Organizational skills, priority management and ability to manage pressure;
