Job summary

Aafes is seeking a seasoned retail manager to oversee the operations of a main store at the Eglin area. You will manage financials, promotions, personnel, inventory, and training to ensure smooth daily operations and top customer service.

The role requires six years of progressive retail management, including leadership in the last three years within specified roles; a Bachelor's degree with four years of management experience can also qualify.

Qualifications

• Six years of progressive retail management experience with recent roles in specified positions.
• Bachelor's degree plus four years progressive retail management experience with relevant roles.
• On-site work at HQ Dallas, Texas/Exchange Location; relocation entitlements may vary.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to ensure proper operation of facility and customer satisfaction.
• Establish goals to maximize sales, productivity, and minimize inventory costs.
• Develops and mentors staff for future development.
• Coordinates sales promotions activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience must include one of the following in the last three years: Sales and Merchandise Manager, Operations Manager, Main Store Manager, Exchange Business Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, General Manager, Store Manager (BR) or Region Retail Program Specialist. One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.

Or

Bachelor's degree plus four years progressive retail management experience.
