Job summary

Frette is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Palo Alto boutique and drive performance in a luxury retail environment. You will recruit and develop a high-caliber team, model elevated selling, and build lasting client relationships using CRM, clienteling, and personalized service.

You will also manage store operations, merchandising, inventory, and compliance while partnering with corporate to execute initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Several years of retail management experience, preferably within luxury retail, hospitality, or interior design.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to analyze trends and adapt strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools and clienteling.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Establish partnerships with interior designers, hospitality partners, and local businesses to grow brand presence.
  • Ensure a white-glove client experience, including bespoke services and in-home consultations.
  • Oversee store operations including scheduling, reporting, and financial performance.
  • Ensure execution of visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.
  • Manage inventory, stock flow, and loss prevention processes.
  • Partner with corporate teams to execute initiatives and improve performance.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Store Manager to lead our Palo Alto location and drive business performance in a growing market.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team to consistently exceed sales and service goals
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Set clear expectations, analyze performance, and implement action plans to drive results
  • Lead daily and monthly meetings to align priorities, communicate business updates, and strengthen team engagement
Sales & Business Development
  • Act as a Frette Brand Ambassador, modeling elevated selling and storytelling around heritage and craftsmanship
  • Drive store profitability through strong KPI management and strategic decision-making
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through CRM, outreach, and personalized service

  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 40 lbs. using appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Ability to move throughout the boutique, stockroom, and offsite locations as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and climbing ladders
