Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking a Store Manager in Austin, TX to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and development of the store team, while ensuring compliant scheduling and payroll practices.

As a Store Manager, you will also manage product presentation, inventory, and promotions, maintaining a safe and engaging shopping environment and delivering strong results for the district.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings.
• Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Proven managerial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Lids selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including escalations and urgent requests.
• Direct in-store team members to ensure optimal customer service and support store operations.
• Offer customers opportunities to join Lids membership programs or in-store offers via employee education.
• Drive team engagement with recognition and continuous check-ins, including performance management and documentation.
• Collaborate across store channels and districts using company platforms.
