Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager for Famous Footwear Outlet #63305 in Simpsonville, KY. Lead the team to deliver a premier shoe-shopping experience for families, drive sales, and manage day-to-day store operations with a customer-centric focus.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has 1-5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
• Builds constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
• Demonstrates ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
• Displays ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Exhibits ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with Territory Sales Manager as needed.
• Displays cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrates expertise and proven ability to lead general retail practices and procedures.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using safety techniques.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift repeatedly.
