Murdoch’s in Colorado is seeking a Store Manager to lead our store team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and manage operations with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

You will recruit, develop, and coach the store management team, implement financial strategies to meet budgets, oversee loss prevention, and collaborate with Home Office to align with Murdoch’s MVPs. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in retail leadership.

Qualifications

• Three years store management experience with minimum sales above $20M annually.
• Ability to increase sales and store profitability.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Strong merchandising capability.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer software (Microsoft products).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the store management team to operate with excellence and create a service-oriented environment.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a consistent store experience.
• Develop and enact strategies to meet or exceed annual budgets.
• Operate in a timeline-driven, goal-oriented manner for accountability.
• Network, recruit, assess, and hire qualified candidates.
• Develop teams through goal setting, learning opportunities, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate organizational excellence and delegation.
• Maintain loss prevention focus and store safety.
• Collaborate with other store management and Home Office teams.
• Maintain store facilities in cooperation with Facilities.
• Contribute to Murdoch’s overall success through cross-store collaboration.
