Job summary

Chico's Riverside in California is seeking a Store Manager to lead the team, drive the customer experience, and manage store performance with a focus on hospitality. You will hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates while delivering memorable, personalized service aligned with KnitWell Group brands.

Location: Orchard Shops at Riverside Plaza, Riverside, CA 92506. Pay range: $27.70–$34.65 hourly USD. Regular/full-time position with opportunities for bonuses and advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience required; 2 of those years in a Store Manager position.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Define a clear vision and strategy to prioritize a customer-centered culture, drive operational excellence, and deliver business results.
• Hire, develop and coach a retail team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership of the store’s financial performance; manage payroll and schedules; and achieve sales goals.
• Lead the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
• Use store reporting to proactively create action plans to improve metrics and run the business effectively.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
