Job summary

Jungle Jim’s International Market in Ohio is seeking a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, set example on the floor, and translate ideas into actions that delight customers.

You’ll supervise staff across 30+ departments, recruit, hire, train, schedule, and enforce policies while ensuring product quality and safety, delivering a positive, energetic shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments.
• Knowledge of perishables and shelf rotation.
• Able to stand, sit, walk, and bend for long hours.
• Willing to travel between two locations.

Responsibilities

• Work the floor alongside staff and management to lead by example.
• Promote a positive environment and stay in touch with employees and customers.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times.
• Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Schedule staff and monitor attendance; recruit and train new staff.
• Enforce company policies and ensure safety and security of staff and property.
