Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policies and initiatives are implemented.
• Ensure staff fulfill responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with Merchandising.
• Oversee inventory processes including receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs and chargebacks.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets; review reporting and records.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Oversee payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication with store team, district and regional management.
