Job summary

7-Eleven in Boston, MA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and develop a high-performing store team. You will oversee merchandising, marketing initiatives, and customer service to ensure exceptional store performance.

This role supports internal promotion, training, and staff development, with emphasis on cash handling, P&L awareness, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required with 1+ year of retail management experience.
• Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
• Strong focus on retention by developing leaders and empowering staff.
• Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Experience using P&L and store reports to drive change.
• Cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting loyalty programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Multi-tasking, standing for long periods, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Develop leaders, retain staff, and empower employees to be productive.
• Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure in-stock products.
