Job summary

Universal Store in Western Australia is seeking a Store Manager who can lead from the front, grow a high‑performing team and deliver standout customer experiences in a fast‑paced retail environment.

You will manage a Tuesday–Saturday roster, drive sales and store profitability, and maintain visual merchandising while upholding Universal Store’s values and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in a retail setting.
• Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Deep understanding of store operations, inventory, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations with a strong and visible floor presence
• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to build future leaders
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service standards
• Drive sales performance and store profitability through strong cost and productivity management
• Manage rostering, budgets, and scheduling to achieve business and payroll targets
• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and overall store efficiency
• Recruit, train, and support team members through clear, honest, and constructive feedback
• Uphold and role‑model Universal Store’s values, culture, and brand expectations
