SHOE SHOW, INC., the country's largest privately held footwear retailer, is seeking an experienced Store Manager for SHOE DEPT. ENCORE #1982 in PERU, IL. Lead a team, drive sales, and uphold our customer-first standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will recruit and develop staff, schedule shifts, manage stock, and execute promotions while delivering exceptional service. Strong merchandising, communication, and organizational skills are essential; willing to travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• One year prior management/supervisory experience.
• One year retail experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Passion for excellent customer service.
• Ability to operate company computer systems.
• Availability for varied hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top management and sales talent.
• Training in product knowledge, customer service, and store operations.
• Set key performance indicator goals, measure performance, and provide feedback to staff.
• Create a monthly schedule to ensure balanced shifts.
• Oversee merchandise processing and stock room organization.
• Direct and implement store strategies, promotions, and directives; lead bi-annual inventories.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
