Job summary

Burlington Stores Colorado-Johnstown is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations, maximize sales, and deliver a world-class shopping experience for our customers.

You will mentor assistants and partner with store leadership to drive merchandising, staffing, and payroll budgeting while upholding Burlington values of trust, respect, and integrity. This role requires a strong leader with a focus on results and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of store leadership to ensure policy execution.
• Ensure staff fulfill individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing.
• Review receiving, transfers, RTVs, returns-to-vendor, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and follow Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets.
• Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide coaching and development.
• Handle personnel relations and staff issues.
• Payroll budgeting, scheduling, and workforce management.
• Foster effective communication across store, district, regional teams.
