• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of retail work experience.
• Ability to supervise and train employees.

• Food Server certificate may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises the activities of 2 or more full-time employees including assistants and customer service staff.
• Recruits, hires and trains positive, enthusiastic employees.
• Develops, manages and assigns tasks to keep the store clean, stocked and organized.
• Maintains professional image among subordinates and supervisor.
• Schedules employees to maximize customer service and store image.
• Implements non-discriminatory management in hiring, training and counseling.
• Develops professional relationships with suppliers and resolves customer complaints.
• Provides regular onsite attendance and ensures safety and proper signage.
• Prepares performance appraisals in Workday and conducts check-ins.
• Trains staff on customer service, store image and safety procedures.
• Mentors on cash handling and reduces business risk.
• Ensures required training is completed timely.
• Establishes effective communications with employees and holds regular meetings.
• Organizes store files and reports; ensures accurate reporting.
• Oversees merchandise display, pricing and posters.
• Analyzes daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; budgets and forecasts P&L.
• Notifies District Manager of discrepancies in sales, cash, or inventory.
