SmartStop Self Storage in Elk Grove, IL is seeking a Store Manager to oversee leasing, staff supervision, and site maintenance. You will coordinate with the home office, manage tenant relations, and keep facilities well rented while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance.
• Experience in the Self-Storage industry is required.
• Computer literate with solid office skills.
• Take‑charge/can‑do mentality yet able to follow set procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leasing storage and parking.
• Managing a team.
• Assisting with maintenance.
• Supervising onsite projects.
• Communicating with the home office team.
• Maintaining good relationships with tenants by providing outstanding customer service.
• Keeping the facility rented at optimum levels.
• Prepares units for auction and vacates units as prescribed by law and approved by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
