Description

Position starts at $60,000-65,700 (dependent upon experience) with annual merit increases and production bonuses. All team members are eligible for a variety of career development and skill training classes at no cost and can enjoy a generous team member discount. Summary

Manages, leads and operates a retail store and donation center by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Ensures compliance with all established Agency policies, procedures and practices.
  2. Directs activities for retail store to ensure satisfactory financial support by managing sales, controlling expenses and payroll, handling personnel issues, accounting, merchandising, loss prevention, and staff development.
  3. Interviews, hires, and completes onboarding for new hires.
  4. Ensures all employees are trained, attend orientations and classes.
  5. Supervises staff and manages staffing needs for regular and high-traffic times.
  6. Coordinates shipments and adjusts inventory to meet sales goals.
  7. Confirms daily sales reports and cash deposits, ensuring compliance with policies.
  8. Motivates a positive work environment through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
  9. Promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  10. Resolves customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
  11. Ensures merchandise is priced according to guidelines.
  12. Implements seasonal plans, store signage, and sales promotions.
  13. Reports security or theft issues to Loss Prevention.
  14. Works with Workforce Development and Retail Pathways to ensure program effectiveness.
  15. Supervises store staff and performs other related tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises store employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisal, and discipline, in accordance with agency policies.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs work of subordinates as needed, participates in management teams, and reports maintenance needs.
