Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Tucson store located at 345 E Congress St #145, Tucson, AZ 85701. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals eager to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, and nationally recognized company.

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present
  • Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members involved in cookie sales and deliveries
  • Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the absence of the manager
  • Assist the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory, and scheduling
  • Ensure staff adherence to company standards (baking, uniforms, policies)
  • Drive upselling and deliver excellent customer service, ensuring team members do the same
Desired skills/experience:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly staff
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Availability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
