Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Phoenix store located at One East Washington Street, Suite 180 Phoenix, AZ 85004. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals eager to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, nationally recognized company!

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present
• Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries
• Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling
• Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.)
• Focus on upselling and delivering excellent customer service, ensuring team members do the same

Desired skills and experience:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
• Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Ability to work a 4-5 day work week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thursday-Sunday)
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible for employment in the US
