Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our downtown Orlando store. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals looking to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, and nationally recognized company!

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
• Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
• Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
• Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.).
• Focus on upselling and delivering excellent customer service, ensuring team members do the same.

Desired skills/experience:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Ability to work a 4-5 day work week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
