Job summary

Circle K in Rockford, IL is seeking a full-time Site Manager to lead daily store operations and supervise staff. This role requires strong customer service, training abilities, and the capacity to manage inventory, cash control and reports.

You will recruit, train and supervise employees, schedule shifts, and ensure compliance with company standards while maintaining a positive public image in the community. May require driving to meetings and coordination with management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to use computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the site, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well-kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling and separating employees.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote a safe, positive public image in the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals for all employees and provide feedback.
• Train employees on customer service, site image and marketing execution.
• Train staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate effectively with all staff and hold regular meetings.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals, ensuring reports are complete.
• Supervise merchandise display and pricing to meet standards.
