Qualifications

• Retail management experience of at least 3 years.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Physically able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates.
• Coach and develop associates through training.
• Oversee daily store operations and delegation.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Implement directives from headquarters.
• Work to maximize store profit contribution.
• Protect company assets and maintain safety.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
