Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn the profitable operations of your assigned store, maintain merchandising standards, and use proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers and associates.

You will recruit and hire store teammates, coach and develop performance, oversee daily activities, ensure policy compliance, and drive the store toward maximum profit while maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending, and climbing.
