Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead daily operations and develop a high-performing team at our store. You will recruit, train, and coach associates while ensuring top-notch merchandising, signage, and customer service to drive store profitability.

The role emphasizes compliance, safety, and a positive environment. A background in retail management and the ability to handle physical duties are important components of success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help your store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
