Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Nashua, New Hampshire, is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn how to run a high-performing, customer-focused retail operation. You'll participate in on-the-job training to master merchandising, staffing, and store presentation while delivering strong service to customers and supporting associates.

You will recruit and develop team members, oversee daily store activities, maintain compliance, and implement signage and merchandising directions from corporate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate.
