You will join a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and participate in on-the-job training to master store operations and merchandising strategies.

During training you’ll recruit and develop associates, implement corporate directives, manage freight and store signage, and pursue profit goals while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement directives from corporate headquarters for merchandising and operations.
• Help the store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets and maintain customer service standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
