Job Summary

The Salon Director in Training will drive store performance, ensure exceptional client service, and uphold operational standards to meet or exceed goals. This role involves supervising Tanning Consultants, leading by example, and fostering a sense of urgency to achieve objectives while delivering an outstanding client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example, creating a client-focused environment and meeting sales targets.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and support other Director functions.
• Assist in revenue and expense control.
• Ensure proper staffing for productivity and customer service while managing labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Work approximately 35-45 hours per week, depending on employment status.

Experience

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service and operational practices.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Team building and delegation abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift heavy items and assist in cleaning and maintenance tasks.
