Job Summary:

The Salon Director in Training is responsible for driving store performance, ensuring excellent client service, and maintaining operational standards to meet productivity goals. The role involves managing and supervising Tanning Consultants, leading by example, and fostering a sense of urgency to achieve objectives while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment
• Lead by example in client service and sales
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment
• Set clear goals for team members
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with other managerial tasks
• Support controlling revenue and expenses
• Ensure proper staffing levels for productivity and service quality
• Work nights & weekends, approximately 35-45 hours per week

Experience:

• Management and/or sales experience required
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
• Team building and delegation abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, lift, and perform cleaning functions
