Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program designed to lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy. Participants complete an accelerated learning plan with classroom, online, and on-the-job training to prepare for Store Manager assignments.

Under the Store Manager's guidance, trainees shadow and assist in daily operations, rotations across stores, SOPs, compliance, and the path to pharmacy technician registration as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years retail management experience, or a high school diploma with 5 years retail management.
• Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) required.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer within Walgreens hiring Area.
• PTCB certification and bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations to lead front-end and pharmacy responsibilities.
• Shadow Store Manager and assist in supervising store operations.
• Complete accelerated development and rotations across area stores.
• Adhere to SOPs, compliance standards, and safety policies.
• Engage customers and drive store performance metrics.
