The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training experience that includes virtual and hands-on learning. You will be supported by your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key Skills Needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
• Customer care skills to provide high levels of service.
• Ability to execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Management of store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Expectations from SMITs

• Engage actively with your leader during Key Learning Experiences to support your promotion path.
• Support store operations as a management team member, aligning with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in the company's purpose of "helping people on their path to better health."
• Willingness to accept promotion roles within the market.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to accept a Store Manager role at any location within the designated market.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS stores within the market.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience considered.

• Weekly Hours: 40
• Type: Full-time
• Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.25 per hour, depending on experience and location
