Join to apply for the Store Manager in Training role at CVS Health.

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. Over 16 weeks, you'll participate in self-paced, collaborative training, including virtual and hands-on learning experiences, supported by your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key skills for this role include:

  1. Effective verbal and written communication to lead your team.
  2. Providing high-quality customer care.
  3. Executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
  4. Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

SMITs are expected to:

  1. Engage actively with leadership during the program to support promotion readiness.
  2. Support store operations as a management team member, aligned with CVS values and policies.
  3. Engage colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
  4. Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market.
  5. Transfer to other CVS stores within the market if needed.
  6. Work flexible schedules based on business needs.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. High School diploma or GED (required).
  2. Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  3. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor.
