Qualifications

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees people management and operational performance in retail location, including talent planning, recruiting strategies, performance management, succession planning, and scheduling.
  • Manages product availability and on-hand levels to meet sales targets and forecasts.
  • Establishes and monitors receiving, returns, and pricing processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensures visual merchandising and in-store presentation comply with standards.
  • Facilitates in-store corporate sales and promotions and drives KPIs.
  • Monitors public reviews (Yelp/Google) and uses feedback to improve service levels.
  • Manages labor, supplies, travel, and events budgets and codes expenses to GL accounts.
  • Assesses store operations and customer experience, providing actionable insights.
  • Translates store goals into daily action plans and adjusts priorities as needed.
  • Reviews performance and provides real-time coaching to maintain strong execution.

Job description

The Retail Store Manager II coordinates the daily operations of domestic retail stores ensuring consistentand efficient performance. Manages the team structure and day-to-day activities including onsiteinventory management, process and procedure creation and enforcement.

Essential Functions

  • Oversees people management and operational performance in retaillocation, including talent planning, recruiting strategies, performancemanagement, succession planning, and workforce scheduling. Coaches anddevelops team to build strong leadership pipelines and consistent employeeexperience.
  • Manages the flow of product availability in store, ensuring minimum on hand levels align with sales targets and forecasts. Considers trends, customerand staff feedback.
  • Establishes and monitors standardized receiving, returns, and pricing accuracy processes, ensuring timely execution, compliance with controls,and resolution of discrepancies impacting margin or customer experience.
  • Ensures consistent execution of visual merchandising and in store presentations, reinforcing alignment with standards set in visualmerchandising manual.
  • Facilitates in-store corporate sales and promotional events, ensuring staff are informed of promotional priorities to drive sales and meet establishedKPIs.
  • Monitors digital platforms such as yelp and google for customer reviews onin-store experiences. Responds to reviews and uses information to evaluatepolicies and procedures and maintain high service levels.
  • In charge of managing labor, supplies, travel, and events budgets for retaillocation. In charge of ensuring that charges are coded to correct GLaccounts.
  • Proactively assesses store operations, team performance, and customer experience within the store, providing insights and recommendations tosupport overall initiatives and continued improvements.
  • Translates store goals into daily action plans, adjusting priorities, schedules, and processes to meet operational and customer experience expectations.
  • Reviews individual and team performance against expectations, providing real-time coaching and guidance to maintain strong execution andaccountability.
