Job summary

Circle K is seeking a store leader to supervise a team of full-time staff and ensure top-notch customer service in a busy Portland, ME location. You will train employees, manage scheduling, and uphold store image and safety standards.

You will collaborate with suppliers, address customer issues promptly and lead ongoing training on cash handling, safety and policies. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred, with flexible availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to supervise and train staff on store operations and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and computer skills for reports, inventory and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises 2+ full-time employees (Assistant Manager, Lead CSR, CSR).
• Recruits, hires and trains staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Manages store appearance, stocking, cleanliness and organization per company standards.
• Schedules employees to maximize customer service and store image.
• Implements fair hiring, training and coaching practices.
• Develops positive relationships with suppliers and resolves customer complaints.
