As a full-time Store Manager, you are passionate about serving your community by providing the best shoe store experience for the whole family. You will lead your store team to meet and exceed Talent, Culture, and Operational responsibilities. You are a people leader who takes pride in motivating your team to achieve sales targets and growth goals. Through personal demonstration, training, and development, you create an in-store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and remain loyal to your store, our brands, and our company. You stay enthusiastic about the product and presentation, staying current on trends and educating your team. What You’ll Be Doing

1. Inspire The Customer Connection: Foster a culture centered on customer relationships and operational excellence. Develop internal talent by assessing strengths and opportunities, modeling selling behaviors, and coaching to enhance customer connections.
2. Lead Talent Discovery: Seek out and network with exceptional external talent. Invest in developing strong succession plans for leadership roles, and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences.
3. Own Retail Operations: Manage day-to-day store operations, including pricing, shipments, inventory, and maintaining store standards. Make staffing decisions to ensure optimal team coverage during peak times and seasons.
4. Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Take ownership of sales goals, analyze business insights, and refine strategies to improve performance. Use resources and partnerships to align operational efforts for success.
5. Be the Architect of a Winning Culture: Promote diversity and inclusivity, maintain a positive mindset, and foster team engagement to increase retention and performance.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-5 years retail management experience, preferably in specialty retail.
• Strong relationship-building skills within store teams.
• Ability to set objectives, organize work, and lead, manage, motivate, and communicate effectively with staff.
• Experience in training, coaching, and developing associates.
• Ability to exercise judgment, analyze problems, and make decisions.
• Knowledge of retail practices and procedures.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand, walk, and perform related physical tasks.
