You will assist in recruiting, stock presentation, inventory control and cashier security while maintaining a safe, well‑stocked environment and handling opening/closing duties. This is a hands‑on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Perform basic math including percentages and cash handling calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposit controls.
• Learn IBM cash register functions and generate reports.
• Understand inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Familiar with deposits, keys, SAFE and STARS programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stock presentation per guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management, damages, markdowns and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and store operations oversight.
• Model company procedures and policies from handbook and SOPs.
• Participate in opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and cashier accountability.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store with safe environment.
• Operate store in the manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for sales, labor and inventory trends.
• Complete all paperwork and documentation on time.
