A leading retail organization seeks a General Store Manager for their Andover location. Job Description:
As Store Manager (internally known as General Store Manager) at Scope's Andover store, you will have the autonomy to run the store with your creativity and flair, thriving in our dynamic retail environment. Our retail roles are varied, with each day presenting new challenges that are highly rewarding.
The Role:
Permanent - 35 hours per week
Location - Scope's Andover shop, SP10 1RL
As General Store Manager, you will:
1. Oversee stock collection, preparation, display, and explore ways to increase stock donations.
2. Ensure accurate cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.
3. Recruit, manage, and develop staff and volunteers, fostering an inclusive team environment.
4. Deliver excellent customer service and engage with the local community.
5. Review and implement health and safety policies to ensure compliance.

About You:
To succeed, you should have:
- Experience in fashion and homeware, ideally managing a large store.
- Excellent customer service and personable skills.
- A commercial mindset and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Numeracy skills for financial tasks.
