Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for supporting merchandising, operational, and human resources functions for an individual store to achieve or exceed sales and profit goals. This position requires a proactive individual who remains highly engaged with customers, demonstrates integrity, communicates effectively, and works well in a dynamic retail environment. The Store Manager also plays a key role in fostering a positive work culture, encouraging employee involvement, and supporting change management within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, counsel, and terminate staff in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Maintain financial controls, including managing shrinkage, payroll, and operating expenses.
• Oversee inventory controls, facilitate transactions, and ensure compliance with shrink standards.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure excellent customer service.
• Supervise staff engaged in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Ensure staff adherence to Citi Trends policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
