Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic leader who will embody our company’s values around people, processes, operations, and brand advocacy. This leader will be responsible for personal sales, store sales goals, team leadership, operations management, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and implementing strategies to meet revenue targets. The role is pivotal in ensuring store success and contributing to overall company growth, maintaining the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.

Total Compensation Range: $60,000 - $95,000 per year (including base, commission, and bonus)

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

People:
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to sales teams to enhance sales techniques and performance.
  • Lead and supervise all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, training, development, and succession planning, fostering a top-performing team.
  • Enhance employee engagement, promote a positive workplace culture, and build effective teams.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels.
Process:
  • Achieve or exceed store and annual operational benchmarks.
  • Evaluate team performance and behaviors to optimize effectiveness.
  • Model and teach established sales and design processes to surpass customer expectations.
  • Maintain store profitability through managing financial metrics and margins.
Brand Advocacy:
  • Model and teach product knowledge.
  • Champion the company’s brand strategy and deliver a first-class customer experience.
  • Align merchandising, pricing, and product flow with company standards.
  • Uphold visual standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Operations:
  • Utilize store visit forms for performance tracking.
  • Hold regular meetings with staff.
  • Ensure proper execution of systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with support teams for operational excellence.
  • Adhere to legal and accounting standards.
  • Plan and execute sales promotions and market improvement projects.
SCOPE & IMPACT:

This role significantly influences store financial health, team morale and development, operational efficiency, and customer experience, managing store revenue up to $5 million and leading up to 15 direct reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a retail sales environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, financial literacy, interpersonal communication, analytical skills, goal orientation, team management, customer service.
  • Other: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience managing retail sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of profit and loss.
  • Business acumen and effective relationship-building skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Up to 15 direct reports.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Perform repetitive hand motions, and listen actively.
  • Sit, walk, bend, and stoop as needed.
  • Work indoors in a controlled environment.
  • Pass background and drug screening.

Pay and Benefits:

Expect a total compensation of $60,000 - $95,000 annually, including base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Base pay is $60,000, with uncapped commissions (3% on design sales, 2% on others) and potential monthly bonuses up to $1,500. Our pay practices are transparent to foster understanding and confidence.
