Job summary

Oberweis is hiring a Store Manager for our ice cream shop. You’ll be the right-hand to the District Manager, helping lead our scoop squad and keep operations smooth.

You’ll deliver top-tier customer service, manage shifts and inventory, maintain a clean, welcoming shop, and build a fun, high-energy environment that customers love.

Weekend and evening availability is required to keep the shop buzzing with guests.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (food service a plus!)
• A positive, upbeat attitude
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Lead, supervise, and train all employees in every phase of product preparation, including product portioning, packaging, and cleaning duties
• Manage cost controls and inventory.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Weekend and evening availability

About the Role

Physical Requirements

• Carry up to 50lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 9-10 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
