Job summary

Oberweis is hiring a Store Manager for our ice cream shop in Saint Charles, MO. You will lead a dynamic scoop team, drive exceptional customer experiences, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

We're seeking someone with prior leadership in food service, strong communication, and the ability to train staff in prep, packaging, and cleaning. Weekend/evening availability is required, with a focus on inventory control and cost-consciousness.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in food service is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to train and supervise staff in product prep, portioning, packaging, and cleaning duties.
• Experience managing inventory and controlling costs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Store Manager to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You’ll be the right-hand hero to the District Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and motivating our awesome scoop squad

Delivering top-tier customer service (with extra sprinkles!)

Managing shifts, schedules, and daily operations

Keeping the shop sparkling clean and organized

Handling inventory and making sure we never run out of fan favorites

Jumping into scoop, serve, and celebrate with customers

Managing shifts and daily operations

Community relations and customer experience

What We’re Looking For

Previous leadership or supervisory experience (food service a plus!)

A positive, upbeat attitude

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Lead, supervise, and train all employees in every phase of product preparation, including product portioning, packaging, and cleaning duties

Manage cost controls and inventory.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Physical Requirements

Carry up to 50lbs

Stand and walk on a hard surface for 9-10 hours per day

Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory

Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
