Job summary

Oberweis is seeking a Store Manager for our ice cream shop in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. You will lead a motivated scoop squad, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage daily operations to keep the shop running smoothly.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong leadership, and the ability to train staff across all product preparation and cleaning duties, while maintaining cost controls and inventory levels. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (food service a plus!)
• A positive, upbeat attitude
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Lead, supervise, and train all employees in every phase of product preparation, including product portioning, packaging, and cleaning duties

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Store Manager to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You’ll be the right-hand hero to the District Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Physical Requirements

Carry up to 50lbs

Stand and walk on a hard surface for 9-10 hours per day

Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory

Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
